National Federation of Seed Producers : Its missions include the experimentation and diffusion of seed multiplication methods.
Based on the Lusignan site of the INRA, the FNAMS implements methods for:
· Winter lupin production.
· Culture weeding.
· Regulating fertilizer supply by using the natural diagnostic tool: “double density band” , that indicates the needs in nitrogen.
· Controlling animals and diseases that destroy crops.
·Improving seed multiplication productivity.
· Validating the phytosanitary products that are best suited for the treatment of lupin seeds.
The species tested include: legumes (alfalfa), grass (English ray-grass, red Festuca) and proteageneous plants (beans, peas, lupin, vesce).
